The Audio Planet
The Audio Planet is a full-service audio post-production and music studio specializing in sound editorial, re-recording mixing, and original music for film and television. Founded by Stephen and Josh Tackett, the studio has contributed to projects featuring Andrea Bocelli, Mike Rowe, and Bear Grylls, with work spanning independent features, documentaries, television, and major studio productions for clients including Apple, Marvel, Disney, and NBCUniversal.
Stephen Tackett
Stephen is a supervising sound editor, re-recording mixer, and composer with more than two decades of experience in film, television, and music. Beginning his career in Los Angeles in 1998, he produced artists including 50 Cent, Clay Aiken, and Ally Brooke before transitioning into sound design, scoring, and post-production. As co-founder of The Audio Planet, Stephen now supervises sound and final mixes for film and television, with work for clients and projects associated with Apple, Marvel, Disney, NBCUniversal, and Martin Scorsese.
Josh Tackett
Josh is a composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans a wide range of styles for film and television. As co-owner of The Audio Planet, his credits include scoring and audio post-production for projects such as VeggieTales, The Journey with Andrea Bocelli, Tuttle Twins, Something to Stand For with Mike Rowe, and Jesus: Refugee, Renegade, Redeemer with Bear Grylls.
